Moving on....

i have now decided to go into the design aspect of my ideas and see what i can create based around my theme of 'my world', i want to try and capture the designs of my ideas, i talked about in my presentations that i wanted to try and show my love for that 'hand made feel' i really want to create this but also keep it looks fresh, modern and professional. i think that with these two concepts i have found it hard to try and inner link these and feel it looking professional. I want to try and also include vector graphics as i think this may help with the styling and also fit in well with the handmade feel but keep it looks interesting and modern.
To start my designs off i have decide i want to include a brown paper background, i feel that this will show off my style of 'handmade' but also keep it stylish.
here i have used a few samples and i will then go on to decide with will have the best texture of my site.

I have chosen these four samples of brown paper as i think that they have very different effects and could possibly have very different effects on my site, the first sample is very rich colouring and is soft with a large fold i feel that will create a un-smooth background and not work well with the background i have designed.

The second sample would create a heavy cloud effect but i think that it is to crumpled to be able to hide this if i needed too. I really like the third sample but i don't think the colour would work well with it being very dark, i feel that this will take the gradient away and make the image seem dull. The 4th sample i feel will be perfect for my site as it has a light brown colouring and i slight crease and a nice texture with can be shown or hidden if necessary.
